Ann Perkins

Ann Perkins has worked as the Executive director of Safe Harbor Northeast KY, Inc for the last 23 years. She has served as administrator of programs that include emergency, transitional and permanent housing for victims. Under her direction, Safe harbor has seen over $7.5 million in completed capital renovations on the buildings now occupied by Safe Harbor. She was a founding member of the board of directors which helped to make Safe Harbor an independent 501c3 nonprofit. As a board member, they separated from DOVES to become an independent agency. In 23 years she has created a three tier continuum of care program providing emergency, transitional and 34 Section 8, project based apartments in collaboration with the City of Ashland. Safe Harbor houses over 150 women, children, and men a day. Most recently, Safe Harbor has developed an Art studio and an animal shelter on site for our client’s dogs and cats.
